Babies Inc Established

Finally established in 2002, with the assistance of two AMI trained Montessori Directress, Babies Inc Montessori is the first and leading Montessori Infant Centre in Singapore. In fact, an MCYS representative stated that “you have set a new benchmark for other centres to follow”.

Since then we have strived to maintain this high standard with continuous improvement and with staff development and training.

Casa Established

Casa Montessori Internationalé is newly started for children from 3 to 6 years old.
We are a MCYS registered centre.

We have an awesome team of dedicated teachers consisting of

• AMI trained directress or guide (these terms are used rather than "teacher" because of the different role of the adult in relating to the child, reflecting their role more accurately) especially for our Casa and Infant Community
  
• Qualified +DPE / DECCE trained teachers
  
• Non tertiary qualification but earned a degree from the University of Live majoring in mothering and nurturing

Our school environment demonstrates the values worthy of a child’s emulation. Central among those values is respect - respect for self, respect for others, and respect for our environment.

Children need to be treated with respect so as to allow the natural curiosity, creativity and intelligence in them to develop, yet at the same time this must be balanced with the need for them to learn the boundaries of acceptable behaviour in social interaction. Only then can they be confident in both themselves and their environment.

Our school believes in the Montessori philosophy, “the greatness of the human personality begins at the hour of birth.” Children not only need loving, emotional nurturance and a clean, healthy, physical environment, they also have an innate desire to learn and develop.

Our school aims to create a deep stable foundation on which the children will construct the men and women they will become. Our goal is to lead the children to self-discovery, self-mastery, and to nurture the fragile flame of their curiosity, creativity and imagination. We encourage independent thought and decision making processes in a child, but also stress on “freedom within limits”.

Our Montessori curriculum provides an individualised approach tailored to each child’s stage of development and capabilities. Similarly, each learning environment reflects the individuality of the teacher who has prepared the Montessori environment.

Parents are the primary influence on a child’s development; education must be a collaborative process involving parents and teachers.
